Toilet Training

a boy flushing a toiletToilet training can be a challenging milestone to achieve with your neurodiverse child, and it can cause significant stress for both your child and you. Many daycares, schools, and other facilities may require toilet training for attendance, making it a crucial goal to accomplish. However, standard methods may not be effective for your autistic child with unique needs and requirements.

As a highly experienced manny, I have developed an individualized toilet training method that reduces stress and increases success for your child. My approach does not involve endless hours of your child sitting on a toilet or pleading with them. Instead, I will work with you to understand your child’s bathroom patterns and help you build a routine around those patterns, increasing the chances of success. I will also guide you in knowing when and how to reinforce behaviors, providing more opportunities for success.

Whether through in-person sessions or TeleManny video sessions, I can walk you through the toilet training process with your child. I will also be available for follow-up sessions and to answer any questions, ensuring successful implementation of the method and making necessary adjustments.

My toilet training method is individualized to your child’s unique needs and abilities and can help instill confidence and autonomy in your child. With my support and guidance, you can achieve successful and stress-free toilet training for your neurodiverse child, paving the way for greater independence and success in their daily routines.
